Kennewick WA senior Macy Marquardt joins DyeStat editor Doug Binder a few days ahead of the Washington state cross country championships in Pasco. Marquardt has enjoyed a sensational senior year coming out of the pandemic closures of 2020 and 2021 in Washington. She is running more than two minutes faster on the same courses she competed on two years ago. So far, Marquardt has not competed outside of Eastern Washington, but she is looking forward to trips to Nike Cross Northwest and the Northwest Cross Country Championships after the state meet.
